This is the type of toggle we recommend for use in hollow walls such as drywall or plaster--not for brick or block. Use only when you cannot find a wood stud to support a lag bolt. Order one for each of the brackets on your wall rail. Two for under six foot and three for six or over. We are frequently asked about how strong they are. The packaging rates them for up to 150 pounds of pressure and we are comfortable using them ourselves in our local installations. They are well designed and the drywall is securely sandwiched between the mounting bracket and the large ears on the bolt.
